The Key to affecting change is MONEY!

We continue to demand change in the system.  We Protest, We Riot, We Pray, We Cry, We Complain yet we don't do the one thing that needs to be done.  The one thing that will not only bring the change that we claim we want, but will bring the system as we know it to it's knees.

WE DON'T STOP BUYING!  WE DON'T TAKE AWAY THE MONEY!  We continue to buy their products, use their services, and grow their bank accounts.  We continue to help them keep their stock prices high, their profits growing, and their communities strong.

If we want change, real change, then we have to take the fight to the real battlefield.  We have to hit them where it will hurt them most.  We have to use our economic power to advance our cause.  We need to invest in our communities, invest in our businesses, invest in our educations, invest in our families, and invest in our futures.

As a group the Black community has tremendous power at it's disposal.  If we were to utilize our combined economic power to revitalize our community instead of continuing to support the establishment in power we would be a major force to be reckoned with.  Our voices would finally be heard.

We need to establish our own banks, our own trading system we need to invest in Black Owned and Black Run businesses.  We need to use our money to buy and hold land, build homes and gated communities for Black Families we need to establish education standards that focus on Black history and culture, we need to invest and rebuild the Black Family structure, we need to destroy the current systems in place designed to destroy us..... ie, The for profit Justice System, Child Support Enforcement Scam, and Welfare, We need to clean up our neighborhoods and eliminate the Projects and replace them with single family homes that are affordable and dignified.  We need to restore Pride in our people.

Most importantly, we need to put an end to self destruction, envy, and self hatred.  We need to take a look at the ones within the community that are bring harm ie.... the drug dealers, stick up kids, gangsters and goons and eradicate them.  Yes, some need to be incarcerated.  We need to stop making excuses for those that choose to follow a path of destruction rather than a path of construction.

We need to REVOLT! Inside and Out.  Let's change the world, by changing our world.  Let's stop the marching, the praying, the protesting, and all that crap that hasn't worked and do the one thing that will work.  Take away the money and keep it in our community.  We have the power, Let's use it!

I need a bailout!

So in 2008 Financial markets crashed and the US Treasury gave approximately 16.8 Trillion dollars to bail out the Big Banks.  Yes.... The banks that we keep our money in, the banks that use our money to make billions of dollars everyday yet only pay us back a miniscule portion of the profits they take in on the use of OUR MONEY.

I was recently turned down for a small business loan to purchase an existing business here in my area.
They told me that I didn't have enough credit history.  Funny, huh?  I've never had personal credit because I've always paid cash for what I wanted and needed.  Now, when my business needs funding I can't get it.  And this from the very banks who have the absolute worst credit history ever.  The very banks that squandered trillions of taxpayer dollars due to fraud, waste, and abuse on a historic scale.

What kind of a country do we live in that we've given control of our financial health to big banks and corporations that can't even manage their own finances responsibly?  What's worse is that "We the People" continue to allow these same banks to dictate to us how our money is utilized and we continue to let them rob us of the profits that we should be getting back and not them.

We need an economic revolution in this country.  We need to destroy the banking and financial system and start fresh with something new.  As it stands now we are doomed to repeat the mistakes of the past and we won't have anyone to blame but ourselves.  The Big banks are not too big to fail.  We need to let them fail so that the little guy can have a chance.

Music career 101

The most overlooked part of career building in the music industry is artist development. Sure, you have a great song, a hot look, and your swag is lit. But, do you know how to perform? Do you know how to present yourself on stage in a way that will be truly memorable. Do you know how to conduct yourself in an interview? Most artist and managers don't prepare for this and it's one of the reasons labels pass on them and why fans lose interest.

Rappers are the worst offenders. Nobody wants to pay money to see a stage full of drunk and high fools just walking back and forth across a stage swinging towels and spilling drinks all over the place.

If you are serious about a career in the music industry that will stand the test of time (which nowadays is typically 3 yrs at best then you have to focus on artist development. You have to first understand what your true fan base really wants and when you step on that stage you need to leave them wanting more. You need to be able to articulate your master plan in interviews and publicity appearances that lets the world know you are what's needed in the industry to satisfy their hunger for entertainment.

Once the recordings are done and the marketing plan is in place it's time to find a place sheet you can rehearse your show. Every step, every move, every action needs to be well choreographed and committed to memory do that when it's time to execute there are no mistakes. You must perform with absolute confidence and command of the stage. You own the space like a will practices quarterback during the big game. Every show is the Superbowl and you have to perform like it's your last.

I'm at Rock Bottom. No where to go but up!

LIFE, is hard!  Average cost of living is at minimum $2,300 to $6,000 per month depending on where you live.  Here in Florida the minimum wage is $8.22 an hour.  At 40 hours per week that's only $328.80 per week gross.  So if you're single you're paying approximately 28% in Federal income taxes so your take home per week is around $236.74 per week.  Far short of the average monthly cost of living and basically leaving you in poverty.

Now, it's easy for someone to say "Well, they should get a better paying job",  But when there are no better paying jobs regardless of your skill level or education you're just stuck.  A slave to our overpriced, capitalistic system.

I have hit rock bottom several times in my life.  I have worked my ass of trying to make a good life for my children and me.  It has not always been easy.  I've found too that when you are down, no one wants to help they only criticize and ridicule you as if you've done something wrong.  Until they themselves are caught up in the trappings of life and need help.

There are many People, Families, Father, and Mothers out there working hard trying to make ends meet.  Many ends have never met and it seems like they are in a never ending cycle of financial disparity find their lives spiraling out of control while others around them just stand by and watch.  Judging them as if they are the lowest life forms ever.

Let me say this...... Don't judge unless you're ready to be judged.  You have no idea what someone
has gone through.  You have no idea how someone has ended up in a bad situation with no hope. Everyone of us is just a heartbeat away from disaster.  It doesn't matter if you earn minimum wage or millions per year when the chips are down you will need someone to help you.

When I was down I had no help.  Encouraging words and motivational conversation didn't do anything at all to help me with my situation.  It didn't matter to me what anyone had to say uplifting because when they were done talking I was still in my situation.

Many of my friends never knew, but I've been homeless, penniless, and totally hopeless.  The worse part is that I had so called friends that could have easily helped me out but they were like the darkness of night.  All I heard were crickets.  All I heard was "Damn bruh, I know it's tough.  Keep praying, keep your head up, stay positive.

Well, I didn't stay positive.  I was hungry, broke, and my children needed me.  I was living in my truck freelancing for what ever work I could do for a few dollars.  I found out really fast that the only one I could count on was myself.  When I was making lots of money and living the life...... I had lot's of "Friends".

You one day will need help.  I'm still working on my own situation and I will rise up again.

Remodeling

Welcome to the official blog of Ken Jackson.  I am making big changes for 2016 and I hope you will join me for a brand new year of prosperity and growth.  Last year I realized that I was doing something wrong.  I was chasing the money instead of following my dream.

I've always wanted to be the solution and not the problem.  I've always wanted to find a way to help those less fortunate than myself find purpose in life.  The world is a cold dark place with far too much suffering and pain.  It's time to truly find a way to help everyone achieve balance and happiness in their lives.  Together we can.

Someone once told me that I couldn't save the world.  But I don't believe that.  We can save the world, we have to save the world because it's the only world we have and if we lose this one..... We have nothing.
